Evidence of the Earlier Church Buildings

  • The chancel is the site of the Norman chapel.

Castle Bromwich Stained Glass

  • Some old stained glass is displayed on the wall by the entrance to the Foden Room. A series of 17th-century glass depicts flowers and fruit and has a rhymed calendar giving the feast days of the Church's year. It came here from Castle Bromwich Hall.

  • A small amount of Victorian glass was saved from the c1960's replacement with plain glass windows, which were put in in the spirit of the 18th century. This window is in the sacristy as the back of the church.
